May is National Mental Health Awareness Month! Individual & Family Plans (IFP) members have access to mental health and substance use disorder services with covered visits to a network therapist, psychiatrist or other behavioral health specialist. Additionally, IFP members in plans that normally require referrals to see a specialist do not need to obtain a referral from their primary care provider (PCP) in order to visit a mental health care professional.
