Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans offer all the benefits of Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) with no-cost preventive care, often include prescription drug coverage and a low or no monthly premium. Many UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans also include:
- Dental, vision and hearing coverage, plus a free gym membership
- The easy-to-use UCard® that serves as a member ID, opens doors to Medicare Advantage's largest national provider network1 on most plans, can be used to help members pay for OTC products and more2
- Rewards for healthy activities3
Special Needs Plans include Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) designed for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, and Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) designed for people living with diabetes, cardiovascular disease and/or chronic heart failure.
Medicare Supplement plans, like AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans from UnitedHealthcare®, help pay some out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare doesn’t pay and include:
- The ability to visit any provider or specialist without network restrictions as long as they accept Medicare
- No referrals needed
- In most states, wellness extras4 like a no-cost gym membership, 24/7 nurse line and more
Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) help pay for prescription drugs and can be combined with Original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement plan. Prescription Drug Plans include drug copays as low as $0 with Optum® Home Delivery Pharmacy.5
